# Installation

## Update your project's composer.json file

Edit the `composer.json` file at the root of your installation and, in the `repositories` section, make sure that you find the following:

```

## Get the extension and deploy it

- Require the extension: `composer require "soon/module-social"` 
- Enable the extension: `php bin/magento module:enable Soon_Social`
- Run system upgrade: `php bin/magento setup:upgrade`

## NOTICE

In order for this module to work, you need to have customer account sharing option set to global.

You'll find this option here: Store->Configuration->Customers->Customer Configuration->Account Sharing Options.

This must be fixed in the future.
