Why? If this module doesn’t assume the consumer has init’d it’d need done in pretty much all functions. That would be wasteful and slow things down.

Some exceptions where it is safe to call before C<init_user()> are C<validate_user_container_name()>, C<load_known_containers()>, and C<get_containers()>.
